Summer recipes
A delicious, refreshing dessert. All we have to do is bake the pies. Of course we can work to make a homemade puff pastry and vanilla ice cream or we can cheat a little if we are in a hurry or we don't feel like working too much and we can buy both the puff pastry and the vanilla ice cream (as I did, but to don't tell anyone anymore)
You can replace blueberries with any fruit you like

  • 400 gr puff pastry
  • 200 gr blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 or
  • vanilla ice cream
  • blueberry jam

Servings: 6

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Sandwich from blueberry pies and vanilla ice cream:

The thawed dough in the fridge is lightly spread with a rolling pin on a lightly floured wooden countertop.

With a metal ring we cut an even number of discs.

Mix the blueberries with the sugar. We place the blueberries in the middle of half of the discs. We put the rest of the discs over the blueberries. Using a fork, press the edges of the discs so that they do not come off when baking. Grease the pies with beaten egg.

Place the pies in a tray and bake them over high heat.

Remove the tray when they are browned and leave them to cool.

Assemble the sandwich alternating a cold pie with 2 balls of vanilla ice cream and finishing with another pie. Pour a little cranberry jam and serve immediately.
