Method of preparation

Sift the flour into a bowl, make a hole in the middle and put the diced soft butter, oil, salt and yogurt. Knead well until a thick dough is obtained. Wrap in plastic wrap and leave to cool for about 30 minutes.

During this time, wash the apples, cut into suitable slices and cover with sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, raisins and grated peel of a lemon and leave for 10-15 minutes, until a syrup is formed. Remove the dough from the cold, spread it with the rolling pin on the board and place it in the special tart tray.

The most delicious sweets are those from seasonal fruits. Apples are used in a variety of recipes, but my sister Mihaela tried this. Below are the ingredients and the results.

Used: 2 kg apples (preferably ionatane) 5 tablespoons ground cinnamon sugar. For the dough: 5 egg yolks 250 g sugar 180 ml oil 125 ml boiling water 15 g fresh yeast flour as much as it contains (about 8-9 tablespoons) 1 sachet baking powder grated peel from a lemon. For meringue: 5 egg whites 5 tablespoons sugar.

Method of preparation: Peel apples and back. They are put on the large grater, then we put them to harden with the sugar, in a saucepan, on the fire. Stir occasionally. Leave it on the fire until the juice left by the apples decreases. At the end add a teaspoon of cinnamon (or to taste).

For the dough, proceed as follows: Mix the yolks with the sugar, gradually add the oil, then the boiling water, the yeast dissolved in a teaspoon of sugar, the grated lemon peel, the flour (enough to get a flowing dough, thicker than a cream & # 8211 if the dough is too thin, apples will not stay on the surface), baking powder quenched with lemon juice or vinegar.

We spread the dough in a rectangular shape (25 & # 21535 cm) greased with a little oil and lined with baking paper or just a tray greased with butter. Place the hardened apples on top and if they still have juice, squeeze them in your hand and only then place them over the dough.

METHOD OF PREPARATION

Filling:

Grease a rectangular tray with margarine, line it with baking paper and pour the composition into it.
Put the tray in the oven for about 15 minutes, at a suitable temperature.
Bezel:
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until they harden.

Cake with meringue and walnut top
